I created this short publication for a class I took called “Topics in Visual, Material, and Digital Culture: Living in a Material World.” It’s a deep-dive into consumer activist Stevie Van Horn and her zero-waste lifestyle. In it, I discuss what ethical consumerism is, how she achieves creating zero waste, and some other fun bits of info about her! Also featured is a look at her new company, Yay For Earth, which sells sustainably-sourced face lotion.
